this policy explains what amoeba collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. amoeba is a brand of Tshirt App LLC, based in Brooklyn, NY.
what we collect
when you join the beta we collect your email, your mobile number if you give it, your first name if you share it, and a record of your text consent (the time, the page and the wording you agreed to). if you order, we collect shipping and order details. our site also collects basic usage data such as pages visited and device type.
how we use it
to send the beta updates and promotional messages you asked for, to fulfill orders, to answer questions, and to improve the shorts and the site.
text messages and your mobile number
we do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. we share mobile information only with the service providers that deliver our messages, such as our messaging platform, and only so they can deliver them.
who we share with
service providers that run email, texts, hosting, payments and shipping for us, under contracts that limit use to providing those services. we may also disclose information when the law requires it.
